Overflowing Joy

Joy to you this Resurrection Sunday!

As I opened my bathroom cabinet this morning, a shaving cream can was in the midst of a failed valve. This picture shows the can with the main lid still on. There is a 1 mm hole in the top through which all this foam was escaping.

May the joy of the Lord be overflowing
this day...overflowing, spilling over, covering all those around you!

Trust you to see a connection like that where most people would just get aggravated at the mess! Have a joyous Easter, David!

I am aggravated by several things, but not this mess. This made me smile as soon as I saw it.

Actually it was Freida's insight about overflowing joy that stirred the post idea in my head.

I just took some cream off the top of the pile and shaved. Then decided I would call the company and let them know. Maybe I'll get a free can of shaving cream! If not, that's ok. I had the can for over a year. (I don't use a lot of the stuff.) A student gave it to me for a Christmas present in 2011.

I love that you took something that could really bug you and turn it into something positive. I wish all of us would overflow in the love of the Lord like that.
