Joy of the Feast

I am thankful 

 Immanuel is come. 

The only Eternal Kingdom rules my heart

 and I am filled to brimming over.

With family and friends 

I share a communion

of the Bread of Life
filled with new wine.

I am thankful to You, in-dwelling Presence of Jesus,

 I am clothed with righteousness,

 peace and joy in Your Holy Spirit. 

A Thanksgiving feast with meat and gravy and cream?

With but rice today will I be any less satisfied?

Ah, the continual feasting

under the banner of the love of 

the Father!

  

  Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness

 And let Your godly ones sing for joy. Psalm 132:9
